Communication

This paper discusses how technology has improved society and how it allows us to communicate with others much more easily than ever before. I briefly mention how technology is usually thought of as something futuristic (such as flying cars or robot assistants) however, I point out that technology is currently helping individuals after natural disasters and trying to find a way to prevent them all together. Using technology to interact with people in need is a huge milestone for society. Throughout this paper, I go into more detail on the benefits of it and how it is changing our workforce.  

This PowerPoint demonstrates my ability to effectively explain what NJ Senate Bill 1163 and Assembly Bill 4312 are. I discuss the use of body-worn cameras in policing and the requirements of when they should be activated and the specific incidents where they can be deactivated. I also mention the problems that arose when NJ SB 1163 was initially signed and how the government adjusted policies to facilitate the requirements that they were mandating for departments. 

This letter displays my ability to communicate effectively with my superiors and it explains why I am interested in attending a specific police course. I explain how this course will advance my professional career and how important it is to have good teachers in the world of policing. I clearly state the reasons why I want to partake in this course and why I am qualified.
